Valentino

Amazing, beautiful, absolutely breathtaking.

It's like living in a dream.
I was so in awe when I first saw this on ftv, I couldn't look away.
So modern, young and fresh, the classic cut and the soft lines, a very complex yet minimalistic look and somehow 'effortlessly' chic.

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli are masters, and for some reason one of the first thoughts in my mind when I saw this was 'Who?, who could create such beautiful and unbelievably perfect fashion/pieces/garments? (anyway, whatever), What's in their minds?, What's their story?, Who/what inspired them?' I wanted to know them, I wanted to get in their heads and find out what's in the mind of people who have the ability to turn something so frivolous, so ordinary, into art, into something that can captivate us with a look, a feeling. 'Oh and maybe I can identify myself if I know their story, maybe I can find something we have in common, because if so, then I can probably do this too, maybe I can add that 'extra' to my ordinary like they did, maybe there are a lot of 'maybes' in this story maybe I should just cut my hair and start over.' - I kept thinking to myself. The conclusion I came to: they must be geniuses (so how do I become one?).
I didn't get the answer I was looking for but I know now that I don't have to be them to be me, I don't wanna be confused with something I love.
I really hope these shows inspire you the same way they have inspired me, because nothing replaces the feeling of loving something.

If you wanna know more about these creative geniuses, check them out here.
Also, I highly recommend you check the S/S 2013 show simply because it's equally amazing, beautiful and breathtaking.
Stay tuned for more, xo.
